Starting off as a road case production and PA company in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and later expanding into mobile recording, Shalestone Music has experience working with many types of musicians.
A long list of satisfied clients includes, dozens of independent artists, as well as major acts like Hugh Masekela, Black Uhuru, Hootie & the Blowfish, Helmet, Buddy Guy and Angelique Kidjo among many, many others.
After relocating to Osaka and receiving numerous requests from musicians wanting to play in Japan, booking and tour management services were developed. Over time, services were expanded to include PA and equipment rental.
In addition, many corporate clients such as hotels, restaurants, festival organizers and promoters have requested our services for both short & long term contracts.
In January 2025, Shalestone Music formed a joint partnership with Moorworks to create Shalestone Entertainment Inc., a new company that provides services for independent artists to introduce their talent through live performance to various cultures around the world.
