Starting off as a road case production and PA company in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and later expanding into mobile recording of live performances, Shalestone Music has experience working with many types of musicians.
A long list of satisfied clients include dozens of independent artists as well as major acts like Hugh Masekela, Black Uhuru, Hootie & the Blowfish, Helmet, Buddy Guy and Angelique Kidjo among many, many others.
After relocating to Osaka and receiving numerous requests from musicians to help them perform in Japan, company services were reshaped around booking and tour management, focusing on independent artists coming to Japan for the first time.
From the first tour in 2006 to the present, hundreds of musicians from over 50 countries have used our services to experience the Japanese music scene.
In addition, since we specialize in music performed by fluent English speakers, many corporate clients such as hotels, restaurants, festival organizers and promoters have requested our services for both long & short term contracts.
