簡単にジャンル分けできない複雑な味わい。ニューエイジとジャズにワールド音楽のフレーバーを加えたようなポップとでもいおうか。
アルバムを聴くと、深いジュリアンの精神世界へ引き込まれるようだ。賈鵬芳（ジャー・パンファン）の二胡による「Song
of the Land」からアフリカのパーカッションとアンディ・ベヴァンのディジュリドゥによる「There's
a Boy」、丸田美紀が琴を演奏する「Fuji-san」、井上鑑のビオラデガンバによるアレンジがさえる「The Last of Lovers」、そしてジュリアンによるソロピアノ「And I
Love to Say Goodbye」にいたるまで、ジュリアンのみずみずしい歌声と感動的な作詞作曲に美しく溶け込んでいる。
このアルバムは吉野耕平によるミュージックビデオがついた特別仕様となっている。また、デジパックカバー6面と24ページにわたる歌詞ブックはジュリアン自身がアートワークとデザインを手がけ、美しいイメージの広がる仕上がりとなっている。ロリーナ・マッケニットやヌスラット・ファテ・アリ・ハーンを手がけたスチュワート・ブルースがイギリスのリールワールズ・ミルサイドスタジオにてミックス。レコーディングはシドニーと東京で、トップミュージシャンを迎えて行われた。ジュリアンの歌声は日本のテレビコマーシャルでも頻繁に使用されている。

Julianne's vision is to create and express beauty in the world through her music and art,
moving and inspiring others in the process. She began her musical life
in Sydney, Australia where she studied piano and played keyboards with
several different bands, as well as working as a composer on various dance,
video, television, and small film projects.
She spent a number of years living in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney
where, inspired by her surroundings, she eventually recorded and released
Tales of the Heart,
a solo album of ambient piano music.
Eventually, her musical path led her her current base, Tokyo, where she
performs live, sings on studio sessions, composes, writes lyrics, and paints
in her spare time.
Studio recordings include: vocals for TV and radio commercials with such
companies as Sony, Olympus, Nissan, Subaru, Hagen Daas, Nissay Insurance
(Nissay Lady), KDD 001, Honda, Mitsubishi Cars, IBM, Tokyu Group, Suntory,
Asahi, Pizza La, Twining Teas, Kelloggs, and various cosmetics companies such
as Shiseido, Nivea, Menard, Kose and Kao etc.
Music composition for various small projects such as music for websites
and educational CDs; and lyrics for various TV commercials, recordings, and
other artists' albums.
Japanese artists worked with include: Mayo Okamoto (Crystal Scenery tour, chorus director/backing
vocals), Yukihide Takekawa (lyricist), I George (backing vocals) and Dancin'
Station's (hip-hop dance show) Shikoku tour as guest vocalist.
Other live performances: Performances of original songs and music as
well as working as vocalist, pianist and piano/vocal performing various styles
of world, pop, jazz, a'capella, early and classical music at major hotels,
clubs, resorts and restaurants for weddings, corporate events, shows, tours,
theatre, outdoor events, summer festivals both in Tokyo and around Japan.
