クリス・シュヅはカンサス市育ちでブルーズとジャズクラブでよく出て、2000年フィラデルフィア市へ引っ越、音楽の活動として、いくつかの有名なアーティストと共演した。特にJames BrownとBob Weir（Grateful Dead）

Chris Schultz is a Missouri boy that left the country for the big city when he was just a lad and spent some years playing bass in a blues band which still remains a big influence. He tends to write about everyday kind of folks and trials and tribulations. The Tourists vary from little Chris playing solo to a 6 piece depending on the show, and lately as a duo or trio with 2 guitars and a bass.
Chris is now working on his next record Philly with friend and fellow Tourist, Jay Davidson.
