リードボーカルのプレマ・インはマレーシアのミュージックシーンでは有名で、マスコミの評判も良い。マスコミは彼女のことを「マレーシアのロックの王女」と呼ぶ。彼女は2004年にマレーシアのオーディション番組“NTV7“ で優勝し、レコード会社との契約の機会を得たが、彼女はそれを断り、自らミュージックシーンで経験を積み、知識を得ることを選んだ。彼女は、マレーシアではサンバースト・フェスティバル、サンライズ・ジャズ・フェスティバル、サラワック・レインフォレスト・フェスティバル、海外では中国のZhu Jia Jia  Water Village Festival、シンガポールのSingapore Arts Festivalなど、数々の大規模なフェステイバルに出演している。

2007年には、プレマ・インのためのセッション・バンドMON9（マンデー・ナイン）が結成された。

2009年に初のCDが完成してから、彼女とそのバンドは新しいサウンドを作り始めた。それがMON9の始まりであり、ユニットとしての旅の続きなのだ。

2009年には様々なできごとがあり、エキサイティングな一年だった。VIMA賞でベスト・ロックシンガーとして銅賞を受賞し、CDをリリースし、数えきれないショーをこなし、数々のテレビ番組に出演し、国際的にも認められ、他にもいろんなことがあった。

現在Prema Yin ＆ MON9は、ヨーロッパ、カナダ、アメリカでツアーを行い、日本でのデビューツアーの準備をしている。

Lead vocalist, Prema Yin is no stranger to the music industry in Malaysia, she has received great reviews from the local media. The press has dubbed her as the upcoming “Rock Princess”
of Malaysia. She was the winner for NTV7's Malaysian Topstar in 2004. Although she was awarded a recording contract, she declined the offer and dived straight into building her experience and knowledge in the music scene.
She has performed in big festivals like Sunburst Festival, Sunrise Jazz Festival, Sarawak Rainforest Festival as well as overseas (China for the Zhu Jia Jia Water Village Festival, Singapore Arts Festival)

MON9 (pronounced as “Monday Nine”) formed in 2007, initially conceptualized as a session band for Prema Yin.

After the completion of her first EP in 2009, she and the band started working together in making new sounds.This was the beginning of MON9 and the continuation of their journey together as a unit.

2009 was a very exciting year with a lot of things happening including receiving the Bronze Award as best Rock Vocalist in the inargual VIMA Awards, releasing the EP, playing countless shows, appearing on numerous TV shows, getting international recognition and so many other things.
