MATADORは、オーストラリアのメルボルン出身の3人で構成されるパンクロックバンド。2005年にバンドを結成した彼らは、メルボルンのシーンでもめずらしい荒々しく大胆で無骨なパンクロックを披露してきた。2008年7月の夏、彼らは大変魅力的な4曲のパンクロックを含む
”Johnny Cut Corners” というファースト・デモをレコーディングした。地元でショーを行った後、彼らはそのエネルギッシュでパワフルな音楽を世界に見せつける準備ができている。

KILL THE MATADOR (formerly Johnny Cut Corners) are a 3 piece punk rock
band from Melbourne, Australia. Forming the band in 2005 they have been
performing a trashy, gritty and raw style of punk rock music, unique to
the scenes of Melbourne. In the summer of 07/08 they
recorded their first demo containing 4 blazing punk rock tracks, titled Johnny
Cut Corners. After playing shows around their own cities they are ready to share their
energetic and powerful music with the rest of the world. KILL THE MATADOR are an honest
and passionate band who are in it purely for the love and joy of punk rock
music and are here for anyone willing to come along and listen.
