Francesco comes from a musical family. His mother, vocalist Lilian Terry, recorded with Dizzy Gillespie and Tommy
Flanagan, and promoted concerts in Italy for Chick Corea, Gary Burton,
Abbey Lincoln, and many others. These music giants greatly influenced the
young Crosara along with Bill Evans, Keith Jarrett and Herbie Hancock. Francesco’s
approach to composition and performance brings together elements ranging from
classical to world, latin, blues, and free improvisation, creating a unique
style that is always fresh, introspective and entertaining. |
