米国ニューヨーク生まれ。幼い時からダンス、歌手、ジャズ演奏者として有名。特に中米やアジアで歌い、1984年からパリ拠点を移し、ジャズクラブ等に出演。1989年以降は、アフリカ系アメリカ人の伝統的な霊歌ゴスペルを歌うようになりました。その魅力的な声、明るい笑顔と暖かい人間性は、聴衆の心に深い感銘を与えています。2006年と2008年に近畿地方のツアーをして、大成功であった。

Born in New York, she moved to Paris over 20 years ago. Music is the best way she knows to give praise. She writes, composes and sings jazz, blues, Negro spirituals and gospel. Music is her love, her raison d’être, that she shares joyfully with new audiences or
old acquaintances revisited.
Concerts in more than 200 cathedrals, abbeys, temples and music festivals
in France include spirituals, blues, jazz and gospel. She has toured Asia,
the Middle East, South America and the West Indies. After having a successful
tour of the Kansai area in October 2006, she returned in the spring of
2008 for 3 concerts and a vocal workshop. |
